Young Researchers Collaborate
at SAME-NeuroID Retreat 2024

Between November 4–7, 2024, 12 young researchers from Łukasiewicz PORT joint the similar group from ICM for a one-day retreat event followed by the 10th European Student Conference on Behaviour and Cognition (ESCBC), held at the Paris Brain Institute (ICM) as part of the SAME-NeuroID project.

The retreat provided an excellent platform for exchanging experiences among doctoral students from various European research institutions, fostering valuable networking and knowledge sharing.

During the retreat, young researchers from ICM and Łukasiewicz PORT presented their research findings through posters and oral presentations, showcasing their work in cognitive and behavioral research.

The retreat also focused on fostering collaboration and discussing initiatives to support PhD students. Informal discussions centered on the operations of a potential association aimed at advancing the interests and professional development of doctoral candidates.

Following the retreat, participants attended the ESCBC conference, which featured inspiring lectures, workshops, and thematic sessions.

These activities deepened participants’ understanding of emerging trends in cognitive research, equipping them with practical insights and skills. The event enriched their perspectives on collaboration, advocacy, and the future of young researchers.

Overall, the visit was highly productive, enabling participants to expand their academic networks, gain practical insights, and explore opportunities for future collaborations.

Presentations and discussions from the event are available for further engagement on the SAME-NeuroID platform.
