Project Management training

On August 8-9, 2024, our lab manager Monika Danielewicz attened the online training „Project Management Foundation” organized by the Comarch company. A lecturer, Cezary Krzemiński, got the participants familiar with the basic topics such as:

• methods and practices of project management, eg. Agile, Kanban, Prince2,
• project start-up, organization, stakeholders, and communication,
• risk management, scope, time, and resource management in the project,
• estimation, monitoring, and control of the project,
• project completion.

The course was a nice mix of lectures, exercises that evaluated understanding of the topics, and open discussion showing different points of view depending on the field and occupation of the participants. The course taught Monika how to communicate effectively, report properly, and control the budget meticulously. She also gained precious knowledge of resource management and purchase planning.
