Between September 17 and 25, 2024, Martyna Skuła from Łukasiewicz – PORT took part in an online theoretical training course for those involved in performing procedures in animal experiments, organized by the Polish Laboratory Animal Science Association (PolLASA).
The course included five days of lectures led by experts from experienced research institutions. Topics covered included animal behavior, how to care for laboratory animals, and the rules and procedures for working with them, based on EU Directive 2010/63.
Martyna had the chance to learn practical tips and useful information that will help her in future work involving animals in research. The training supports responsible and ethical practices and adds to the knowledge and skills of the Łukasiewicz – PORT team.
