CONFERENCE
From June 25 to 29, 2024, Jakub Chwastek and Tansu Gover attended the FENS Forum 2024 neuroscience conference in Vienna, the largest event of its kind this year. The conference attracted over 7,000 participants, featured 250 distinguished speakers, and included more than 4,000 poster presentations. This gathering provided a unique opportunity for Jakub Chwastek to engage with the latest advancements in brain research and gain insights from leading scientists in the field.
The forum also offered a platform for hearing keynote lectures from some of the most renowned figures in neuroscience, showcasing their long-standing contributions to the field.
By presenting a poster on our group’s research, Jakub engaged in meaningful discussions with fellow researchers, received valuable feedback, and established new professional connections. „These interactions are expected to foster potential international collaborations and contribute to the continued success of our research efforts.” – commented Jakub Chwastek.

Networking events provided a fantastic platform to connect with fellow researchers, exchange ideas, and build professional relationships. Engaging with researchers from different backgrounds enriched my experience and broadened my perspective on neuroscience research.
Overall, FENS Forum 2024 was an enriching experience, highlighting the collaborative spirit and dynamic progress within the neuroscience community. This experience has significantly contributed to my professional growth and will undoubtedly influence my future research endeavors.
