ABM GRANTS?

As part of the SAME-NeuroID project, we held a Senior Staff Training session featuring Professor Piotr Widłak, Director of the Center for Clinical Research Support (CWBK) at the Medical University of Gdańsk.

Professor Widłak’s presentation focused on the topic “Non-commercial Clinical Trials – Opportunities and Challenges for Polish Research Teams.” He talked about the current state of non-commercial trials in Poland, pointing out both the benefits they offer to research institutions and the practical challenges teams often face—such as funding, regulatory processes, and collaboration with clinical partners. The session also included time for questions and discussion, giving participants a chance to exchange their own experiences and ideas

The event took place on December 15th, 2023, and was aimed at Principal Investigators at Łukasiewicz – PORT and researchers planning to apply for Medical Research Agency (ABM) funding for non-commercial clinical trials. It was designed to help teams better understand and navigate this research area.
