SAME-NeuroID Theoretical Workshop | in vivo

Scientists from the Łukasiewicz – PORT took part in a workshop organized within SAME-NeuroID project and met in Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich.

The hosts of the meeting were Mathias Schmidt and his team, and the participants were:

– Michał Ślęzak, Bartosz Zglinicki, Patrycja Ziuzia (Łukasiewicz – PORT),

– Eric Burguier (Paris Brain Institute),

– Aleksandra Badura (Erasmus MC in Rotterdam).

During the workshop experts shared unpublished work on quantitative, automated, and unbiased analysis of complex behavior. Deficits in social behaviors are a joint hallmark of various psychiatric conditions, such as autism spectrum disorders, depression and schizophrenia.

The exciting brainstorming concluded with setting future directions for developing unified research methodology in this field.
