Raluca Contu visited the Gassen Lab at University Hospital Bonn

Between July 21 and August 1, 2025, Raluca Contu visited the Gassen Lab at University Hospital Bonn. During her stay, she exchanged knowledge extensively with lab members and actively participated in analyzing changes in the autophagic pathway in tissue samples from animal models of stress, using the lab’s established analysis pipeline.

This training significantly deepened her understanding of the interplay between autophagy and stress regulation and will directly support the implementation of similar methodologies at Łukasiewicz – PORT.

The experience was not only scientifically enriching but also an important step toward strengthening collaboration with PI Gassen, coordinator of the AutoHealth project.
