Practical training in data analysis using Python
A practical training in data analysis using Python was held in September 2025 for earlycareer researchers. The workshop introduced essential tools for working with scientific datasets, including data handling, visualisation and basic statistical analysis. Participants gained hands-on experience with standard Python libraries commonly used in biomedical research, improving their ability to process and interpret research data independently. The course was divided into two blocks – the first one introduced us to the basics of coding and familiarized us with the syntax of this language, the second one referred to the basics of machine learning and artificial intelligence, building models from simple to more complex ones. „All the knowledge we have acquired will be implemented by us to make our scientific work even better and more efficient and to help us understand more complex statistical analyses that we will be able to use” – said Karolina Cierluk, training participant.
With a relentless pursuit of knowledge, we unravel the complexities of the mind, unraveling the mysteries that hinder mental well-being. Join us as we pave the way for breakthroughs in neuroscience and offer hope for a brighter future
