Ideation Workshop

On February 26, 2025 six research groups from PORT took part in an interesting and informative workshop organized by the Technology Transfer Department and the Biocatalyst Foundation as part of the SAME-NeuroID project – Senior Staff Training.
The workshop provided a practical approach to exploring how research can be translated into market applications. Participants discussed potential commercialization pathways, identified key milestones, and considered the resources needed to develop their ideas further.

The event featured insights from experienced professionals. Miron Tokarski (GENOMTEC) shared his experience in launching a biomedical startup, Andrii Shekhirev led a session on identifying research applications, and Igors Berkovics discussed research and development strategies. The Biocatalyst Foundation also presented their services on the SAME-Match Treat platform, offering additional support for project development and collaboration.
